You may have read my Meet Nathalie Page but I want to share with you my personal story and the reason why I have been incorporating essential oils into our lifestyles. I will also show you how I incorporate essential oils daily as part of my personal wellness regimen – this will give a general idea of where to start. If you have specific wellness, I can also pinpoint you in the right direction.
But first, my story.
Once I had children of my own, I got a little bit nervous about all the chemicals that were inside my home, like the toxic chemicals, and I tried to swap some of our bathroom cleaners, shampoos, anything that I thought was a toxic chemical (that I looked up online) that was either a hormone disrupter or a possible carcinogen. I mean anything that I thought was going to be bad for my kids, I eliminated it.
But then I realized that was not enough. In 2015, my son Chris was diagnosed with Asthma and was having Asthma attacks quite frequently. That was a wake-up-call for us so we started doing our own research on ways to rid our house of the other chemicals that were still part of our child’s sickness.
That is when I started exploring alternative modalities and was re-introduced to essential oils. I say re-introduced because my mom used essential oils, such as Lavender oil, all the time while growing up. Mom would apply few drops of lavender on my pillow at night or rub my feet with it to allow me to have a good night sleep. Since I had no clue which brand to buy, I went on Amazon.com and bought different brands of essential oils and started experimenting with them daily. You know what happened? Things started to change … for the better … and make sense.
After much research, I realized the whole person must be taken into consideration when it comes to wellness. I thought to myself, “Nathalie, you are a nurse, shouldn’t you know this already?” I did, but being so busy working long twelve hour shifts and feeling emotionally exhausted all the time, I basically numb, and couldn’t see the issue that was right in front of me! And so a step at a time, we changed our lifestyle.
We STOPPED using all store-bought chemicals I learned were potentially harmful to Chris and all of us and STARTED doing new things.
We began using essential oils daily. In a very short time, we experienced changes – and I am talking major shifts! Chris was having asthma attacks less frequently. It doesn’t replace his inhaler that he carries with him constantly but it made a huge difference overtime! We were ah-mazed!
We almost couldn’t believe it. Chris kept improving. It was obvious that these lifestyle changes we were making had a direct impact not only on Chris but on the family as a whole!

I am often asked about how I incorporate essential oils into my overall wellness regimen. I make no secret of the fact that using oils has been life changing for me AND my family in so many ways, but I don’t just preach about a holistic approach to wellness. I live it every single day.
